Mission
NBNFriends mission is to represent the community interest in upholding and promoting the vital role of NBN Co as a Government Business Enterprise, wholesale telephone, broadband and telecommunications infrastructure provider.
Vision
NBNFriends vision is for a publicly held NBN that is valued by all Australians and fully supported by the government.
Objectives
NBNFriends aims to influence government policies on the NBN and to ensure that NBN Co is fully funded to fulfill its role as Australia's national wholesale broadband and infrastructure provider as set out in the NBN legislation.
NBNFriends will campaign to persuage the public and political candidates of the importance of the NBN.
NBNFriends will inform the Australian public about issues affecting the NBN and telecommunications.
NBNFriends will carry out research into emerging issues in telecommunications to better understand the environment in which NBN Co operates.
NBNFriends will partner with like-minded organisations to conduct research, campaign, and communicate with the public.
NBNFriends will collaborate with, support and coordinate the work of the state and territory divisions of NBNFriends.
